Josh Jensen's Calera winery stands just 48 minutes from the Monterey Bay, a patchwork of Pinot Noir vineyards planted atop the limestone soils of Mount Harlan. Many of the vines were planted in the mid-70s and are among California's oldest Pinot Noir vines. Alongside venerable sites such as Mount Eden, and the Hirsch Vineyard, Calera's Selleck and Jensen vineyards produce some of the finest Pinot Noir in the United States.
The wines are so popular that they have their own secondary market with many being purchased and resold on foreign soils at triple the price. We've spent years assembling a modest assortment of Jensen's age-worthy Pinot Noirs and are happy to release them to you now. Below you'll find selections from 1996 to 2009, single vineyard treasures from the Jensen, Selleck, Mills, Ryan, and Reed vineyards, all of which are on sale while supplies last. |
