Cristalino Cava is crafted with the traditional Catalan blend of Macabeo, Xarel-lo, and Parellada grapes grown in a multitude of Penedes vineyards, just a short distance away from Barcelona. Vinified in the méthode Champenois, this festive effervescent wine is full of apple, citrus, and toast aromas and flavors, certainly enough for sparklers found at twice the price. Rely on the Cristalino to liven up mimosas and Champagne cocktails, or pop open a bottle for an impromptu toast whenever you feel the urge. At the table, we've enjoyed pairing this bargain bubbly with traditional Spanish tortilla, classic shrimp cocktails, sushi, and paddlefish roe on toast pointes.
