||California, Russian River
Notes from the winery:
January, 2010: This has tightened up quite a bit, give it time. Hold.
February, 2009: While this starts off tight it opens quickly and is becoming more revealing and giving than it has been over the past several months. A very elegant melding of fresh, bright red fruit and sweet earthen minerality with floral notes and a touch of baking spice. This is integrating well but will be even better with another year or two of bottle age. Drink now with an hour plus decant or hold.
January, 2008: We hope you enjoy our first bottling from the cool Green Valley sub-appellation of the Russian River Valley. The fresh, high-toned red fruit, and excellent balance really highlight the pretty and seductive side of Californiaís Russian River Valley. This is a Pinot loverís Pinot and we are hoping that we can offer more in the future.
