Wine Spectator
Black olive, plum, herb and sage notes are taut, concentrated and dry on the palate, balanced and supported by firm tannins. Needs time. Best to decant for now. Best from 2009 through 2018. 975 cases made.

Deep ruby. Pungent, mineral-accented cherry and cassis aromas, with herb and espresso accents. Ripe dark fruit flavors are complicated by iron and sassafras, with a deeper, earthier quality coming on with air. A brooding, deeply concentrated wine, with impressive power and lingering notes of dark cherry and candied licorice. Give this some air.
