Wine Advocate   The 2006 Gattinara is an overachiever in this vintage. Crushed flowers, pine, resin, menthol and herbs add layers of complexity to the racy, super-ripe red fruits. Despite its generosity, this remains an understated, representative Gattinara with lovely balance and harmony. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2021. I was totally blown away by the wines I tasted from Antoniolo this year. Quite simply, these are some of the very finest Gattinaras I have ever tasted.
