Mas La Mola Priorat 2007 is a boutique wine crafted from old vine Garnatxa (Grenache), Carinyena (Carignane), and Syrah. Priorat's black and red llicorella (slate) soils are unique to the region and lend the wine its mineral backbone. Black fruit and violet aromas lead to a silky palate of blackberry, cherry, rosemary, and spice with accents of violets and anise. Considerable bottle age lends to the integration of this cuvee which will benefit from decanting before enjoyment. Pairs perfectly with lamb, filet mignon, rabbit, and pork. Drink now. 1,000 cases produced. |

Dark ruby. Intensely perfumed aromas of red fruit compote, cherry pit, floral oils and vanilla, with a bright mineral overtone. Sappy and expansive, offering sweet black raspberry and cherry flavors and notes of licorice and candied rose. Finishes on a floral note, with slow-building tannins and excellent clarity.
