Famed for its white-sanded beaches and azure waters, Mallorca is also known to a handful of Spanish wine lovers thanks to this singular "estate" based in an old dairy farm near the town of Felanitx. Simply put, there is no finer wine produced in Mallorca than the various cuvées that come from this hands-on operation. Wines are crafted with the indigenous Callet and Mantonegro grapes grown on 40+ year-old vineyards scattered throughout the area, both of which are laboriously picked by hand. The ÀN/2 combines trace amounts of Syrah with the two native grapes for a wine that combines elements of good red Burgundy and spicy Rhone-reds. While this island wine works wonders with red meats, it can also compliment grilled or roasted fish dishes and fried seafood platters with crispy herbs.
