Brunello hounds know Mocali for its serious Sangiovese Grosso-based Montalcino reds. Sampling through a wine line-up a few months ago, we stumbled across this gutsy Toscano Rosso selling for peanuts compared to the other wines on the table. This warming, Sangiovese-based Tuscan red is richer than most similarly priced Chiantis, and it works just well with a wide array of Italian-inflected meals.
