This small family-owned winery produces outstanding Valpolicella and luxuriously rich Amarone from the Veneto's local grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara. Before the wine is fermented, the grape clusters are spread out to dry on straw mats, concentrating the sugars and flavors that lead ultimately to the rich, heady sweet tobacco and dried cherry aromas and flavors that Amarone is famous for. We enjoy serving these opulent reds with slow roasts or hearty pastas spiked with rich braised meat ragouts. Don't forget to save a glass for your cheese course too!
