New York State law, states that alcoholic beverages cannot be returned, except in instances where the merchandise is defective in quality
Union Square Wines does not accept any returns except in the following scenarios:
If any of your order items are damaged, defective, missing, or different from what you ordered, Union Square Wines might be able to accept a return. Please see below for more information and instructions.
Please report any damaged, missing, or wrong item issues within 72 hours of the delivery. It may not be possible for Union Square Wines to accommodate your request after that time.
If the package appears to have been tampered with or damaged during transit please refuse the shipment and notify us immediately.
Upon receiving your order, If you find that an item has been damaged in transit, get in touch with us straight away.
Customers have the opportunity to return any item they perceive to be spoiled due to cork taint or bacteria within 30 days of receiving the shipment. Please ensure that the bottle, alongside its original cork or closure and proof of purchase, is kept intact for inspection purposes - we cannot replace bottles that are fully consumed or discarded. Any purchases of wines that are five years or older are made at the buyer’s risk and are not eligible for returns or refunds.
We will promptly organize a pick-up and return of the package to our facility. Our team will inspect the contents to verify the spoilage before arranging to send out your replacement bottles. It is crucial to promptly inform us of any spoilage issues email@example.com.
Upon receiving your order, it's essential to check all items promptly. If you find that an item is missing or you received an incorrect item, get in touch with us straight away.
We cannot refund or return items that have been opened or consumed.
Orders are processed as soon as they are submitted and are scheduled for delivery or shipping as soon as possible.

If your order has already shipped or is en route to you, it cannot be canceled. If the order is returned to our store and you opt to cancel it, a refund will be issued only for the product value as invoiced minus a 20% restocking fee as well as any other fees that might occur due to the return.
Order cancellations are accepted within 30 days from the purchase date or before the order has been dispatched or collected. For orders that have been placed on Hold for more than 30 days, cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please note, that order cancellations might be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
