Bloomer Creek Vineyard Description
This unique wine began with the harvest of 20 bushels of wild apples from a seedling apple tree at the edge of Auten Vineyard. The hand-crushed apples were co-fermented with late-harvested Auten Vineyard Riesling grapes to create a new petillant natural (80% AV Riesling and 20% wild apple). The wine is dry and crisp on the palate, with an amber hue in the glass. Wild-yeast fermented, unfiltered, and unfined.
