Tenuta Terre Nere Etna Rosso DOC stands as an archetypal and distinguished expression of Sicily's famed volcanic terroir, crafted with meticulous care by one of the Etna region's most esteemed producers. A harmonious blend dominated by Nerello Mascalese (approximately 98%) with a touch of complementary Nerello Cappuccio, the grapes are cultivated in low-yielding volcanic vineyards where vine ages range from 6 to 50 years. Following a traditional vinification where maceration extends through the end of fermentation to gently extract character, the wine is then aged in wood for roughly one year prior to bottling, allowing its distinct personality and nuanced complexity to develop.
