Dive into the delightful world of Moric HausMarke Rot 18, a charming blend of Blaufrankisch, Rotburger, and Blauburgunder (Pinot Noir). This unique wine, crafted by the renowned winemaker Roland Velich, is a playful yet sophisticated introduction to his exquisite range.
Moric HausMarke Rot 18 is a harmonious blend of the 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2019 vintages. It showcases the vibrant freshness of Blaufrankisch, brimming with notes of currant and juicy red cherry. Its light-hearted agility is complemented by a backbone of earth and spice, which subtly supports rather than dominates, making this wine an easy-to-drink delight.
Experience the finesse of Roland Velich's winemaking with Moric HausMarke Rot #18. Its lively character and balanced complexity will leave you yearning for more, making it a must-have addition to your wine collection.
Made for the first time, the NV Hausmarke Rot is predominantly based on the 2018 vintage but also contains the vintages 2019, 2017, 2016 as well as a single barrel of the 2014 Jagini. The wine opens with a seductively aromatic and fruity nose: fresh and cherry-fruity, with fascinating notes of blooming herbs, spicy notes and elderberry aromas, revealing beautiful concentration and refreshing balance. On the palate, this is a silky textured, pure and fresh red wine for early consumption. Not really complex, deep or exceptionally long but fruity, coolish, silky and stimulatingly fresh, with a tart and crisp finish. This is a cool-climate wine from the Burgenland and a great new wine for Moric. The 2019 is 50% whole clusters, 2018 and 2017 are 30% and 2016 was even less.
