100% Montepulciano, from the family’s small holdings across the Abruzzo line. Fermentation and 4 months aging in stainless, followed by 6 months in bottle. Medium-bodied and intensely flavorful, but not heavy, with good grip, this gutsy red revels in peppery black currant, plum and morello cherry flavors. (from the importer)
