This unique Pet Nat (Pétillant Naturel) hails from the Vasto production area in Abruzzo, featuring an intriguing blend of 85% indigenous Pecorino and 15% aromatic Riesling. Grown in vineyards with northwest exposure on sand and limestone soils, the certified organic grapes are hand-harvested and immediately pressed. The initial fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperatures, with the crucial second, bubble-creating fermentation occurring naturally in the bottle. The wine is then refined for an additional three months in bottle before release.
The result is a refreshingly lively sparkling wine, bottled at 12.5% ABV. It presents an inviting bouquet abundant with fresh floral notes, juicy melon, and ripe yellow fruits.
